While it seemed like it was never going to get here, the end of this university semester is not far away at all. It’s funny, because even though I will have already completed four semesters at university once this one comes to an end, it honestly doesn’t seem like I have already been in university for two full years. Once this semester does completely come to an end, I will be returning back to live with my parents in their home for the summer. While many people cringe at the thought of living with their parents, this is the only time of the year that I really get to see them, so I actually enjoy it. I may have given you the idea that my university semester is completely over, but as you may have guessed, I do have all of my final examinations to take.
While it is true I was very worried about my final examinations last semester (for the record, I ended up doing well), I am really confident that I’m not going to encounter any problems during the ones at the end of this semester. To reward myself for my upcoming strong performance on my final examinations, I have already made some summer plans. After I get settled into my parent’s place in London, I have a Luton car rental reserved for my buddy and I. The reason we are getting a Luton car rental is so we can enjoy taking a road trip for a full week. I decided to take this friend with me on the road trip because we always have a great time together, and I know we are going to have a blast being out on the open road with each other.

Over the past few weeks, people have been going crazy over the news that the H1N1 flu virus (which you may also know as the swine flu virus) is spreading across the globe. Once people started to realize that swine flu was killing people throughout Mexico, they started to get much more worried about the potential implications of this virus spreading. Although it is true that the H1N1 virus has continued its spread across the world, it is not causing the same level of fatalities that it initially did in Mexico. I wanted to highlight this fact about the H1N1 virus, because for reasons unknown to me, people continue to be extremely worried about this virus continuing to spread around the world. In spite of the fact that I think this continued worrying is unjustified, countries throughout the world are continuing to respond in a fairly serious manner.
Because I planned it over three months ago, I have decided that regardless of all these swine flu worries, I am not canceling that trip I have planned. I have a trip to London planned for the end of July, and in spite of all the worries that people around the world are having, I will definitely be going there and having a great time. Since I have already taken care of booking my hotel room, Luton car rental and flight, it would take something much more serious than this current swine flu issue for me to cancel my whole trip. However, because people have a short attention span, I’m guessing that they will have already calmed down by the time my trip actually gets here and I won’t even have to worry about canceling it!
