I love getting a good deal. Although I’m not what you would normally call a frugal shopper (meaining that I won’t avoid buying something simply because I can’t find a way to save money on my purchase), I still love getting a good deal just as much as anyone else (if not more). I think the reason that I enjoy getting a good bargain so much is because it creates a little rush of energy inside of me. I realise that probably sounds extremely corny, but in reality, it’s exactly what happens when I get a hold of a money saving offer.

One of the most recent things that I got a good deal on was the car rental that I reserved for my trip to Luton. I am going to be visiting Luton in a month and a half, and as I was making all of my travel arrangements, I realised that I was also going to need a car rental. Fortunately, all I needed to do was use the Internet. I found a web site that compared all of the current car rental rates in Luton for free, and then when I saw which price was the lowest, I went ahead and reserved it.

Just over three months ago, I returned from a trip to Luton. While this in itself may not be a very interesting piece of information, the thing that people tend to find interesting is the fact that my trip to Luton four months ago was actually the fourth trip that I have taken there. When I first tell people this, most assume that the majority of my trips to Luton have been on business. When I tell them that this is not correct, they usually come out and ask me straightforward why I have been to Luton so many times. Since I always believe that a straightforward question deserves a straightforward answer, that is exactly what I give to them.

The reason that I have been there four times is because it’s a place I truly enjoy visiting. I wasn’t expecting to like it so much when I visited the first time, but I ended up falling in love with the place, and I have been going back there on trips ever since. I know that not everyone holds the same opinion of Luton as I do, but if you have never ever been there, I highly encourage you to check it out for yourself before forming any opinions.

Although there are a lot of things on the Internet that you can easily waste your time doing (such as Flash games, Facebook and celebrity gossip blogs), there are also a lot of extremely valuable tools on the Internet that can save you a lot of time. I know that in one way or another, the Internet is able to not only save me time, but also make my life easier on almost a daily basis.

As a perfect example of this, yesterday I realised that I hadn’t reserved a car rental for an upcoming trip to Luton. Now, obviously reserving it on-line was not my only option. I could have picked up the telephone and made my reservation through that method. Or, I could have skipped making the reservation and waited until I arrived to find a car rental in Luton.

However, I did choose to use the Internet. As I said in the first paragraph, the Internet saves me time and makes my life easier, and that’s exactly what happened in this situation. It saved me time because I was able to quickly do it all at once, and it made my life easier because I was able to find a good deal and save myself money.
